In 1946, Fernanda Gattinoni's atelier opened in Rome. The first dress with the Gattinoni label is a green velvet suit, made for Clara Calamai, the diva of Italian cinema of the fifties.

Some of the most beautiful women ever relied on "Madame": Ingrid Bergman, Audrey Hepburn, Kim Novak, Lucia Bosè, Ava Gardner, Margaret of England, Anna Magnani, Gina Lollobrigida, Anna Maria Pierangeli, Isa Miranda, Lana Turner , Maria Josè just to name a few.

An infinite production of dreamy and Haute Couture: bustiers, marked lives, full skirts, empire dresses. Fernanda Gattinoni was an old-fashioned woman, honored, over the course of her long career, with numerous awards both in Italy and abroad for her tireless commitment in the field of fashion and social work

The atelier also became an international reference point for the creation of wedding dresses. In 1960, Fernanda Gattinoni designed the empire-style clothing collection which became her stylistic cliché par excellence.

Among his illustrious clients we also find Golda Meier, Giulietta Masina, Mimise Guttuso, Eva Peron, Jackie Kennedy and Princess Margareth of England who, in 1961, gave scandal wearing Gattinoni clothes at Buckingam Palace (according to the court label, for the members of the royal family were in fact forbidden to wear clothes by foreign stylists).

Couture, Prêt-à-Porter, Accessories: Gattinoni is 74 years of fashion. Attention and care in the choice of materials, passion for stylistic research and an unmistakable touch. The strength arises from the purity of the lines and refined simplicity. Wishes that turn into clothes and accessories.
